Protected Landscapes – Alex Norman (Chippenham)

The Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme is now open to all farmers and landowners in National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The programme provides funding to produce positive environmental outcomes at a landscape scale, covering 100% of the cost associated with the project work. Projects can attain funding if they support nature recovery, mitigate the effects of climate change, support sustainable farm businesses, and provide opportunities for people to discover, enjoy and understand the landscape and its cultural heritage.

Project themes include but are not limited to river restoration, grassland reversion, dewpond creation, soil regeneration and emission reduction. This is a great opportunity to get paid to make your farming business more sustainable and improve the surrounding natural environment.
