November staff photo competition winner announced

FCG’s Ian Browne from the Stafford Office has scooped first prize in the internal staff photo competition. The theme for November’s round was ‘Planning for the Future’. Each month the Farm Consultancy Group staff members are encouraged to send in photos depicting a theme to help with business marketing and create some comradery amongst the 8 regional offices.

Independent judge Lizzie McLaughlin, Community Editor at the Farmers Weekly commented ‘ This was an interesting competition to judge as there were so many ideas and takes on what future planning means to an individual.’ ‘All of the entries are diverse but I was struck by the messy desk – it’s great to show the realities of what happens behind the scenes’. ‘Farming has so much to offer in terms of careers and its great to highlight that office work can be just as demanding as the field base side’. ‘I loved the realism of it, a picture that a lot of people can relate to no matter their role in the industry!’

Ian will be sent a box of beer to celebrate his success from a local brewery, this time supporting independent business Peak Ales.
