Ellice Hahne

Ellice Hahne has joined the team in the Sherborne office of The Farm Consultancy Group in May as Rural Compliance Consultant.  She will be providing advice and support on rural and environmental schemes, Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ), soil and nutrient management plans and sustainable farming.  Ellice is passionate about all three pillars of sustainability – economic, environmental and social – and believes that these pillars go hand in hand.  She enjoys keeping up to date on new farming practices and applying her knowledge on-farm.

After gaining farming experience in New Zealand, she went on to work on dairy farms in Switzerland and Ireland, before completing her MSc. in Agricultural Extension and Innovation in Dublin in 2022 and then moving to the UK.  Before this role, Ellice was working as software consultant, advising clients on the best products to use for their farm management needs.  Outside of work, she enjoys going on long hikes in (sunny) mountains, as well as traveling abroad and watching rugby!
