Slurry Infrastructure Grant Round 2 – Currently Open!

Ellice Hahne (Sherborne)

Round 2 of the Slurry Infrastructure Grant is currently open for applications.

As before, there are several rounds for the application process, stage 1 being a short online questionnaire which is currently open until the 17th of January.  You will not need all details about your slurry store for the application but must know which items you would like to apply for, where the store will be located, and how large a store you need.  You also need to have a rough estimate of costs.  As in round 1, slurry stores must help you reach 6 months slurry storage capacity (either by expanding your existing storage or replacing inadequate stores).

The RPA have increased funding in this round and expanded their priority areas, so farmers that were previously unsuccessful may be successful in round 2.  The RPA encourages farmers that were unsuccessful in round 1 to apply again in round 2 but will not prioritise them.

If you would like more information or need assistance to apply for the slurry infrastructure grant round 2, please contact Ellice at ellicehahne@fcgagric.com or your local FCG office.
