I have recently had a spell of ill health which has seen numerous trips to the hospital, although fully recovered now it had highlighted an area that we discuss with clients on an on-going basis but had not dealt with in the office.  Businesses relay on the efforts of expertise of people and what happens if a person is ill?  Is there anyone who can take over in their absence, is there currently enough communication between everyone involved to ensure the business can function effectively when a key member of staff is off.  Is enough training offered to members of staff to ensure they have the knowledge and confidence to take over.  We have now put in place measures to reduce this risk going forward, as the old saying goes ‘team work makes the dream work’.
