Jessica Sterritt has joined the WhiteAvon team for her placement year as a trainee consultant. She is currently in her third year at Harper Adams University, studying BSc (Hons) Agribusiness Management.

Coming from a dairy farming background in Northern Ireland, Jessica is keen to broaden her knowledge of UK agriculture and to experience the variety of work that consultancy offers. During her placement, she will be working alongside each of the WhiteAvon consultants to gain insight into all aspects of farm consultancy while supporting projects across the business.

Jessica is particularly interested in learning more about the financial and business management side of consultancy, while also developing her professional skills and industry knowledge. She is looking forward to contributing to the team and gaining valuable experience throughout the year ahead.

Outside of her placement, Jessica is from an intensive dairy farm in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, where she grew up working alongside her family. She particularly enjoys milking, calf rearing, and managing their flock of crossbred sheep. While studying at Harper Adams, she also spent weekends working on a local organic dairy farm, and she is looking forward to bringing the knowledge and experience she has gained into her role with FCG WhiteAvon.
